Only one week left before Quarter 3 is finished!
This last week before break will be a week of review and assessment. We will spend the first part of the week reviewing the most recent unit on Mathematical operations and decimals. Then, we will move on to reviewing the prominent concepts from units 1-6. We will review by doing a number a different activities in class. These activities will hopefully enrich each student's understanding of the Math they have learned in the last eight months. At the end of this review, a cumulative test over chapters 1-7 will be administered. This will take place on Thursday, March 7th.
After we have finished the cumulative test, we will be off and running on a new unit: congruent figures! It will be fun to shift the focus from numbers to shapes. I'm confident the students will also welcome this transition :)
