Another week of 4B is upon us!
This week, we will be wrapping up a study of the tenths and hundredths places with a short test that will be administered on Thursday, January 31st. As soon as this test is finished, we will waste no time before diving into the thousandths place.
At home, talk with your student about decimals: How does a digit in the tenths place compare to a digit in the hundredths or thousandths place? How are decimals like fractions? Why are decimals useful in the real world? These questions will bring learning and Math out of the classroom and will likely enhance this unit all the more for the students. Happy conversing!
